The Snow Came:) and the cold:(

My husband wanted to let me have it last week when I was wishing for snow. To top it off he says that my much wanted snow storm also brought the cold with it. He is tough though, but I do feel for him being out in the sub-zero weather all day. Yesterday, it didn't peak above zero on his job. I heard from my cousin in Iraq and he said right now even the desert is cold!

As for me, I have been busy in the office finishing up items for December as I will be out from December 19th through Janurary 5th. I am looking forward to spending time with family, taking in a few basketball games and cleaning out the kids' drawers to make room for clothes from Christmas. Speaking of basketball, Kenna and I really enjoyed watching Lane and Shootgun (Logan) play last night. Both their teams beat Clarkston YEAH! When she got home she told her dad that the Bears won, Lane made a basket, and Logan hit some one (it was actually and elbow) but it amazes me how much she takes in when I think she is not paying any attention. By the way, bless all of you who help entertain her at 4 hours worth of basketball. She loves you all!

I would like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas, may this time of year give you a chance to share with the ones you love and rejoice over the many great memories made this past year!

Where is the Snow??

Don't shoot me yet, but I am a North Idaho girl and do love the snow. It just doesn't seem like the Christmas season without the snow. The office has been fairly quite giving me time to get organized for the coming year. I am looking forward to many fun times in 2009.

Our afterschool program is insane right now. Carrie, my assistant is overseeing 4-H programming in 4 different programs per week and a fifth program once a month. She is hopping adn I feel blessed to have her.

As for the family, the presents are wrapped, the fudge is made, now we just need snow

Vacation

My family and I had a wonderful vacation to the Oregon Coast. Here are a few pics of the great swells and the Sea Lions that McKenna called swimming dogs!
